Dear Sirs,
We are a group of Italian modelling enthusiasts. We are writing to inform you about what's happening here in Italy.
Since you have taken over the group Lima/Rivarossi, we have noted that your production has worsened and we didn't
expect it due to your reliability.
We have noted a lot of mistakes since your first remakes especially as regards the colouring of the objects. At first
we thought it was due to your haste to put on the market as many items as possible, but this has occurred on almost
everything. What concerns us the most is that a worsening on the moulds is taking place, for example on model D341
the headlights are exaggerated big, and this is just one of the many problems.
What we find hard to understand is:
1) Why did you make changes on details which were perfect during the previous Administration?
2) How come these mistakes occur only on items put on the Italian market (Rivarossi) whereas the German items (Lima)
and the French items (Jouef) are almost perfect?
We all are concerned both about the future of the Italian models you have acquired and the announced steam locomotive 740
which is expected by almost the Italian collectors.
We don't know what the reasons are but we are writing to offer you our knowledge about the Italian rolling stock, to help your
production and those who sell it before the damage is irreparable.
We end our letter informing you that most of us have renounced to buy at least 3 to 4 articles each due to these mistakes, but
we will be ready and willing to buy again the moment the same items on the market are made perfectly, as each and every collector demands.
Regards
