Great product, giving 4 stars because i felt the instructions were minimal. Installed on a couple athearn blue box GP38-2's so far . Definitely increased pulling power. Before the snot 15-20 cars, after 30-35 installed on two axles. Tip: If the snot is to thick to evenly spread it can be thinned with water. The instructions don't state this. I redid my first locomotive at least 4 times before i was satisfied, take your time and expect it to not be perfect first go round. Removal is easy. As far as durability goes i replace them about every two weeks and i run about 10-13 hours a week.

Well, I am completely amazed with this product. I have been model railroading for 40+ years. I have some very old HO scale locomotives from the 70's that had lost the original traction bands on the pulling wheels (my later model trains don't have these rubber tires). I applied "Bullfrog Snot" solution to the wheels as illustrated and now these old units run like brand new. Smooth running with plenty of pulling power and traction. This is a very inovative product and performs as advertised. A big thanks to the developer of Bullfrog Snot from a very pleased model railroader.

I couldn't keep tires on my 1953 293 American Flyer loco. I researched and found Bullfrog Snot. While not wild about the name, I am wild about the application and results. Outstanding. Period. Application was a dream, essentially easier than I thought it would be. My loco pulling power improved remarkably, as advertised. I am very pleased with my purchase and have already recommended the product. You can't argue with success.

Works great, easy to apply. Follow the instructions exactly - not much needed.
Only downside has nothing to do with the product - make sure you don't impede your loco's ability to navigate insulfrog switches by putting it on too many wheels - it is NOT conductive and careful selection of which drivers to "snot up" is important.
5.0 out of 5 starsMy locomotive pulls every car I have

My little Z-scale locomotive was struggling to pull a dozen light cars on a level track. With bullfrog snot on one pair of driving wheels, it'll pull 18 cars with ease. I doubt I could use up an entire ounce of this stuff in 5 lifetimes. If the lid had an applicator attached, it'd be perfect.

Works great. At first I put to much on, but now I know it takes very little on the wheels to work great.
